Why homeowners choose us

Renovating is disruptive. We plan it so it stays predictable.

The two things homeowners worry about most are going over budget and missing the timeline. Both are decided long before demolition starts.

On time and on budget

We map out the construction process in detail up front, specifically to avoid the delays and overages that make renovations painful.

Hands-on leadership

The owner works on job sites alongside the crew and inspects every site personally for safety.

Full project support

Planning, design options, material selection, permit coordination and execution, all handled by the same team.

A crew that stays

Our crew members have worked with us for many years and stand behind their work the same way we do.

Proudly serving Burlington · Oakville · Milton · Halton Hills · Hamilton · Waterdown

They are the best. Very contentious. They made sure the house was well protected covering furniture and the floors. Using protected covers on their boots. The work was performed by very talented people with an eye to detail and perfection. The owner is very involved with assuring that all work meets the customer’s expectations. OZ has completed 6 projects for us throughout the years and we recommend them highly.

Our unfinished basement has been transformed into a bright, inviting family room complete with built-ins.My partner and I still can’t believe how much time we spend in what was once a dark, dreary space where nail studs poked through the floor. The full bath they added is not just functional but also stunningly beautiful. The laundry room, with its custom cabinetry and utility sink, is a lovely finishing touch.

We were very thorough in our search for a contractor to take on a major renovation of our 1950s town home.Of the five companies we interviewed, OZ’s attention to detail, responsiveness, and experience set them apart. They made the overwhelming process feel entirely manageable—dare I say, even easy? Where we had a vision, they respected it.Where we didn’t, they stepped in with their expert opinions. This easy give-and-take made for a seamless design experience all around.

Aaron did an awesome job at renovating our kitchen. He went above and beyond and often times would give his honest opinion on kitchen design even if it meant more work for him. He keeps the customer's wants and goals upfront above everything else. He does not skimp on quality, fixing all the mistakes and haphazard work done by prior tradesmen on plumbing and duct work that hid behind our kitchen walls. He is a master in his craft.

I worked with Aaron on a full kitchen and bathroom remodel, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. He showed up on time, communicated clearly, and ran the project professionally. Every phase moved smoothly — demo, framing, plumbing, electrical, tile, and finishes — all completed without surprises. His attention to detail really stood out. The tile work was sharp, the electrical layout was clean, and the finish quality in both the kitchen and the bathrooms exceeded expectations. The jobsite stayed organized throughout the project, and he always followed through on what he promised. If you’re looking for someone reliable, honest, and capable of delivering high-quality work, Aaron is the right choice. I would absolutely work with him again.

We hired Oz Construction to take our 1960s house from 'bland white' to a stunning, modern home, and the results are incredible. Aaron managed to completely modernize the interior while thoughtfully maintaining the exterior character so that it still fits perfectly within our neighborhood. What impressed us most was Aaron’s personal investment in a quality outcome. He was remarkably quick and efficient from start to finish without ever cutting corners. As is common with 1960s homes, a few structural 'surprises' popped up once we opened the walls, but Aaron was a fantastic problem-solver. He addressed these age-related quirks immediately and effectively, ensuring the project stayed on track without compromising the design. He was transparent with costs, kept the job site remarkably tidy, and delivered a kitchen that is absolutely stunning. If you want a contractor who is efficient, creative, and truly cares about the final product, I cannot recommend Aaron and his team highly enough.

After searching around we hired OZ Construction to redo our home, which we had recently purchased. We explained to Aaron how we wanted it to look and Aaron and his team did not disappoint. Aaron has exceptional pride in his work and offered suggestions based on our vision and his experience. When we were unsure, Aaron offered design ideas and helped us come to a decision. When challenges arose, Aaron guided us through them until a resolution was found and agreed on. Aaron also reminded us of those little things that you don't always think of but have a big impact on the overall look. One example was putting a mirror on a door which made a space look larger, while also being functional. Aaron's sub contractors for cabinets, counters, tiling and flooring were incredible. They also had a lot of pride in their work and also provided their design input and experience as we worked through what best fit with our vision. When it was done, it was exactly what we had envisioned. Anyone who has seen it have been amazed at the transformation and have had nothing but positive comments. We are so glad we picked Aaron and Oz Construction. Aaron is very personable, easy to talk to and we had some great conversations. When we showed up, he would let us know exactly what was going on, how the work was progressing and reminded us of any upcoming decisions we needed to make. We really appreciated his straightforwardness and honesty. He was fantastic to work with.

I have finally gotten around to leaving reviews for our renovation of our home which we love - a bit late (over a year) but life gets busy. We had the pleasure of working with Aaron for our renovation project, and I was impressed with the work. After a frustrating experience with a previous contractor, this team stepped in and completely turned things around. From the start they were efficient and incredibly attentive to detail. They worked seamlessly with Yellow Tree Kitchens to bring our vision for the kitchen and main floor to life, and the results are nothing short of amazing. The project was completed on time, and they made sure every aspect was exactly as we envisioned. I recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and skilled renovation team!
